Job Description Summary
Assist the Site Warehouse Leader and operations in the scheduling, procurement, warehousing, forecasting and transportation for the warehouse. Assist in achieving targeted customer service levels with a minimum investment in inventories and distribution costs. Lead all system activities for the warehouse.
Job Description
- Collaborates with EHS team, warehouse leadership, and plant teams to drive team member safety initiatives through demonstrating adherence to safety policies, conducting audits, reviewing policies, and coaching team members.
- Actively aligns with Lamb Weston Purpose and Mission and demonstrates Values in leading direct reports (Food Safety Lead & Customer Service Coordinator) on all shifts in the achievement of company goals through training, coaching, and performance management.
- Generate Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and conduct Gap Analysis to assist the leadership team in continuously improving warehouse processes. Assist in generating cost savings by leading or participating in special projects.
- Maintain an accurate Warehouse Management System (WMS) or other systems by reconciling various Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and correcting errors that have occurred through collaboration with Inventory, IT, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor inventory scanners (RF-scanners), troubleshoot issues when necessary and escalate them to vendor when needed.
- Assist in ensuring efficient and cost-effective strategies are utilized in meeting customer demand by optimizing transportation opportunities in all forms (drop trailer, container, railroad, convention truck, etc.) and storage capacity within the warehouse and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers.
- Research and locate technology for the warehouse operation.
- Support all Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system improvements and implementations (Manifest, SAP, etc.).
- Support site Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and budgetary processes with other warehouse and finance team members conjunction
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Education/ Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Bachelors’ Degree in a supply chain, logistics or business-related field preferred.
Skills and Experience:
- 3 years’ experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems required. Manifest and/or SAP preferred.
- 1 year leadership experience required
- 1 year experience troubleshooting and programming radio frequency units (RF-scanners) preferred
- Must have excellent computer software skills.
- Electronic Data Interface (EDI) experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work effectively in groups with the ability to effectively train others on work tasks
- Ability to speak in front of groups, listen and ask questions to gain clarification, respond well to questions, and participate in meetings.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in English
- Ability to exhibit confidence in self and others to inspire and motivate others to perform.
- Able to effectively balance multiple competing priorities
- Ability to work various shifts - May need to occasionally work off shift to support overnight shift operations as needed.
Physical Environment/Demands:
- Some travel may be required
- Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
- Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of normal workday
- Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn occasionally.
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards
- Exposure to warehouse environments for up to 12 hours per workday to include: loud noise, excessive heat, excessive cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergies.
- Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Freezer Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Warehouse Operation
- Climbing to various heights via stairs or ladders on a regular basis

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $63,160.00 - $94,750.00
