Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for identifying critical talent to grow our organization, developing best in class recruiting/sourcing/hiring strategies, managing early career hiring programs, and for executing successful Talent Acquisition projects in collaboration with HR, recruiting partners, and key business stakeholders.
Job Description
Recruiting & Early Career Hiring Strategies:
- Manages the full-cycle recruiting process of assigned requisitions and ensures quality candidate/hiring manager recruiting experience: leading hiring manager meetings, Applicant Tracking System (ATS)/Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) database processing, job postings/advertising, interviews, candidate pre-screening, offer management, strategic sourcing and other projects/tasks as assigned.
- Manages interview scheduling as needed and maintains detail-oriented coordination
- Enables Lamb Weston to hire candidates that fit business needs; Conducts market research, identifies qualified lists of candidates, and partners with Hiring Managers/HR.
- Collaborates and builds select hiring strategies with HR partners, various departments, mentors, 3rd party vendors, candidates, and key stakeholders.
- Manages the logistics and coordination of assigned projects/programs within Lamb Weston which may include but is not limited to: Intern Programs, Early Career Development hiring, Recruitment Marketing, and other strategies that drive organizational growth.
- Facilitates the internship experience for managers, mentors, interns, and key business stakeholders including: hiring events (virtual/in-person), intern activities, training, mentor requirements, forms/surveys and more.
- Drives retention/conversion of interns into full-time employment through supporting early career full-time employment development programs and building pipelines of talent for future business needs.
- Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with colleges, universities, and relevant organizations to find the best and brightest early career talent for Lamb Weston.
Strategic Sourcing and Pipeline Development:
- Participates in future workforce planning and ensures recruiting strategies are aligned with the goals of higher-level stakeholders.
- Provides strategic sourcing support to Talent Acquisition partners: recruiter meetings, calibrations, candidate outreach, and developing lists of prospective candidates for challenging requisitions and business needs.
- Leads candidate pipeline building for strategic roles that fill current and future job opportunities with quality candidates.
- Delivers recruiting market intelligence to Talent Acquisition, HR, and Business managers: provides lists of relevant candidates, suggested recruiting/sourcing strategies, targeted Boolean keywords, job description review, competitor analysis etc.
- Ensures accurate reporting, processing, and growth of candidate/applicant databases through completion of sourcing projects, pipeline building, and recruiting efforts.
- Develops proactive Talent Acquisition projects that promote employer brand recognition, attract quality talent, and drive the highest standards of hiring/recruiting practices in collaboration with HRIS, vendor, recruiters, and/or various technical teams
- Coordinates, travels to, and attends talent acquisition events & activities that build pipelines of talent: in-person and virtual hiring/career events, tours, community events, virtual info sessions etc.
- Utilizes talent acquisition technology/resources and collaborates with 3rd party vendors to support talent acquisition strategies.
- Assists with Talent Acquisition initiatives and grows team member and candidate engagement to create a culture aligned with our values: Teamwork, Empowerment, Integrity, Inclusion, and a Drive for Results.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or comparable relevant work experience in a related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, recruiting, or related fields required.
- Experience with utilizing an applicant tracking system (ATS) or other database to manage hiring processes required.
- Experience with coordinating, scheduling, and managing logistics for interviews, hiring events, or various recruiting activities required.
- Ability to travel frequently and engage with candidates at career fairs and events required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent grammar and punctuation required.
- Ability to deliver time-sensitive projects by successfully prioritizing daily activities required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) required.
- Previous experience engaging with entry-level & college student prospects preferred.
- Experience with Workday Recruiting (ATS) preferred.
- Experience with the Handshake platform preferred.
- Experience with creative design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Adobe etc.) preferred.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below.Pay Rate or Range: $57,430.00 - $86,140.00
