Job Description Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing, this role will support building the strongest Retail portfolio in the frozen potato and onion category and adjacent spaces. The ideal candidate must be adept at leveraging data to drive decision-making and deliver results for Lamb Weston. The ideal candidate must function in a highly collaborative work environment, building partnerships with supply chain, operations, innovation, finance and sales as well as other cross-functional matrix partners. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence up and across.
Job Description
- Leads multiple national retail brands, with deep portfolio management skills, including new innovation, renovation of core items, retailer sell-in conversations, and consumer marketing and advertising activities. Positions the brand’s portfolio effectively in each of the relevant markets, channels, and buyers
- Develop the holistic communications and eCommerce plan for multiple national retail brands. This includes tactic/channel planning, budget management, and reporting share out on a monthly, quarterly, or campaign basis
- Leads digital brand awareness and demand generation strategies including regional and national shopper marketing programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Category Leadership, Finance, and Category Sales Development in joint business planning, including promotional strategies
- Manages a portfolio of external partnerships, focusing on relationship stewardship, performance improvement, and opportunity exploration. Lead the strategy, synthesize and act upon Retail specific proprietary and syndicated data (example: NIQ) through third-party research vendors
- Translate Retail market data into business intelligence for marketing and commercial leaders, helping ensure business strategies and plans are built on fact-based market data.
- Develops solid understanding of customer and Lamb Weston product portfolio; provides product support to internal and external stakeholders as appropriate.
- Develops understanding of domestic retail dynamics and identify linkages and implications from research to information innovation strategies
- Understands, applies and integrates knowledge of Lamb Weston, its customers and the industry as a whole, across functional areas, including supply chain, to optimize performance
- Demonstrates strong acumen in navigating legal agreements, including MSAs and related partnership contracts
- Manage at least one (1) direct report
- Other responsibilities as needed
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree in Marketing or related field, preferred
- At least six (6) years of relevant work experience in marketing or related field. Preference given to those with experience in CPG brand management .
- Deep understanding of Retail: Category Data (NIQ/Circana), brand positioning frameworks, E-Comm platforms/execution, usage of secondary and primary research, and traditional and emerging media networks
- Experience working with outside agency partners to drive brand growth
- At least two (2) years of direct leadership / management roles
- Consummate team player capable of working across the organization
- Highly detail-oriented and a self-starter, who can provide clear direction to multiple cross-functional partners
- Must be able to work in person four (4) days a week at Lamb Weston’s Eagle, ID headquarters
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below.Pay Rate or Range: $131,130.00 - $196,660.00
