Job Description Summary

The Sr. Salesforce Developer provides senior-level, in-house development capability for the global Salesforce platform, augmenting the Managed Services (AMS) delivery model. This role is responsible for designing and delivering complex Salesforce solutions, performing code reviews, and ensuring development quality and adherence to platform and architectural standards. The Sr. Developer partners closely with Delivery Managers, Tech Leads, Functional Consultants, and AMS teams to enable scalable, high-quality delivery.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools

  • Lead and perform code reviews for internal and AMS-delivered development to ensure quality, security, and maintainability

  • Own development of higher-complexity enhancements, integrations, and custom components

  • Partner with Tech Leads/Solution Architects to align development with platform standards and architectural patterns

  • Support backlog refinement and sprint planning by providing technical input, estimates, and feasibility guidance

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical defects and performance issues

  • Ensure solutions adhere to security, data protection, and compliance requirements

  • Contribute to development standards, reusable components, and technical documentation

  • Support system, integration, and user acceptance testing as needed

  • Assistwith release preparation, deployment activities, and post–go-live stabilization

  • Mentor junior developers andprovidetechnical guidance to the broader delivery team

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 6+years of Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments

  • Strong hands-onexpertisewith Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce (as applicable), and Salesforce APIs

  • Experience building and supporting integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools

  • Demonstrated experience performing code reviews and enforcing development standards

  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments

  • Experience collaborating with AMS or external delivery providers

  • Salesforce certifications strongly preferred, including:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (required)

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II (preferred)

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below.

Pay Rate or Range: $113,930.00 - $170,900.00
