Job Description Summary
The Sr. Global Reporting & Analytics Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-wide reporting and analytics solutions that support Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and Commercial teams across the organization. This role operates as a technical expert in data modeling, BI architecture, advanced DAX, and reporting automation, helping to drive a unified, governed analytics ecosystem. The Sr. Global Reporting & Analytics Analyst partners with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, accurate, and trusted datasets and dashboards used for decision-making at all organizational levels.
Job Description
The Sr. Global Reporting & Analytics Analyst engineers high-performance semantic models, optimized DAX frameworks, and enterprise-grade datasets that support global reporting workloads. This role requires deep technical expertise across Power BI, SQL/Snowflake, SAP data structures, and multi-source data integration. The analyst develops governed KPI logic, fiscal intelligence, and hierarchical structures to ensure consistent, scalable reporting across regions. Acting as a technical architect within the BI ecosystem, this position ensures accuracy, automation, and performance across all analytics solutions.
Reporting Development & Data Modeling
- Design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise reporting models using best-practice star schema principles.
- Develop complex DAX measures, advanced calculations, and performance-optimized semantic layers.
- Build enterprise-wide datasets that support global reporting and analytics use cases across multiple business functions.
- Create intuitive, user-focused dashboards and visualizations that deliver insights with clarity and consistency.
Data Engineering & Automation
- Collaborate closely with IT and Data Engineering teams to support Snowflake/SQL-based data pipelines.
- Ensure datasets are refresh-ready, automated, reliable, and optimized for scale and speed.
- Apply data validation, reconciliation, and quality controls to ensure accuracy across reporting assets.
- Maintain strong documentation, version control, and governance practices to support a robust reporting environment.
Business Partnership & Requirements Gathering
- Work directly with business leaders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.
- Facilitate design workshops, solution reviews, and UAT cycles in partnership with global stakeholders.
- Standardize KPI definitions, fiscal logic, hierarchies, and reporting frameworks across business units and regions.
- Support business user enablement through training, documentation, and guidance to improve data literacy and adoption.
Leadership & Enablement
- Mentor junior analysts and cross-functional partners on analytics best practices, DAX, and semantic modeling.
- Contribute to the global reporting governance model and support the development of standardized reporting processes.
- Assist in rolling out new reporting initiatives across regions, supporting change management and user onboarding.
- Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making by enabling high-quality reporting assets and analytical insights.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
- 5–7+ years of experience developing enterprise reporting solutions and data models.
- Expert-level proficiency in DAX, Power BI, and semantic model design.
- Strong SQL skills (Snowflake, SQL Server, or equivalent).
- Experience building governed, reusable datasets for cross-functional analytics and reporting.
- Ability to work with large, complex, multi-source datasets across global environments.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Familiarity with SAP ECC/S4, BPC, BW, or similar ERP/reporting systems.
- Proven ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse business audiences.
- Experience in CPG, manufacturing, supply chain, financial, or operational analytics preferred.
- Working knowledge of Python, R, or other advanced analytics and forecasting tools preferred.
- Prior experience supporting global reporting initiatives or large-scale data transformations preferred.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below.Pay Rate or Range: $92,480.00 - $138,710.00
