Job Description Summary

This position issues supplies and tools from storeroom and maintains records of supplies issued and received.  Receives and verifies incoming materials.

Job Description

  • Include the following.  Other duties may be assigned: 

  • Issues and records onappropriate forms, all tools and supplies drawn fromstoreroom.  Cleans,inspectsand tags tools for repairs as needed.  

  • Receives, verifies,tagsand stores incoming freight.  Matches receiving documents tocompanypurchaseorder paperwork.  

  • Using the computer system, generate work orders, and perform inventory and equipmentinquiresnecessary to support maintenance personnel. 

  • Conductsinventory checks asrequired.  Investigate discrepancies between physical count and inventory record. 

  • Maintains storeroom in a neat and orderly fashion with special attention to correct locations of items.

  • Valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards

Education   

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.                              

LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read andcomprehend,writeand communicate in English simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groupsituationto customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's work location, job duties, experience and expertise. A reasonable hourly estimate for this role is listed below.
