Job Description Summary
The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of corporate buildings, grounds, and maintenance. This role will ensure that facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with codes and regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in facility maintenance and operations, strong leadership skills, and experience with vendor and team supervision.
Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and external vendors performing work related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, custodial, furniture, and general building maintenance.
- Monitor and ensure proper functioning of building systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify repair needs, safety hazards, and preventative maintenance requirements.
- Assist with facility budgets, including cost control and preparing cost estimates.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment.
- Support space planning and office moves or renovations.
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and service requests.
- Provide training, guidance, and supervision to maintenance staff.
- Ensure employee satisfaction with working conditions including office furniture, climate and other environmental needs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and building codes.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical training in facilities management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in facility management or building maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive company vehicles and travel locally with occasional travel to corporate offices in Eagle, ID.
Working Conditions
- May require occasional work during evenings, weekends, or holidays.
- Willingness to be on-call after regular business hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk long distances, and perform physical tasks.
- May involve exposure to hazards, including machinery, electrical systems, ladders, noise, and dust.

A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $69,500.00 - $104,240.00
