Job Description Summary

The Supply Chain Project Manager leads complex, cross‑functional projects that enable operational efficiency, cost optimization, and improved supply chain performance. This role applies strong project management discipline to drive planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives spanning procurement, logistics, distribution, inventory management, systems implementation, and network optimization.

This leader manages diverse stakeholder groups, builds alignment across supply chain functions, and ensures project outcomes support broader business strategies.

Job Description

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead largescale or multiple mid-sized supply chain projects from initiation through delivery, applying established project management methodologies

  • Define project scope, goals, success metrics, and timelines; monitor progress and lead corrective actions as needed.

  • Develop andmaintainproject documentation, including schedules, status reports, risk logs, and stakeholder communications.

  • Facilitatedecision-makingin ambiguous situations by balancing available data, risks, and shifting priorities, consistent with expectations in the reference document. 

Cross-FunctionalCollaboration

  • Drive planning and execution efforts with partners across procurement, sourcing, transportation, distribution, finance, technology, store operations, and external vendors.

  • Buildhigh performingproject teams, often including geographically distributed stakeholders, as outlined in the Project Manager expectations in the uploaded file. 

  • Serve as a connector between technical teams and business leaders to ensuresharedunderstanding of projectobjectivesand outcomes.

  • Active member of the enterprise Project Management Community of Practice,representingSupply Chain and sharing best practices across functions.

Strategic Alignment & Communication

  • Communicate how each project supports broader supply chain and enterprise goals, reflecting alignment expectations from the provided project manager standards. 

  • Present project updates to leadership, ensuring transparency on milestones, risks, resourcing, and financial impacts.

  • Partner with supply chain leaders to prioritize projects based on business value, urgency, and interdependencies.

Risk, Issue & Change Management

  • Identifyand mitigate risks across cost, quality, schedule, scope, andcross functionaldependencies, incorporating standard PM practices referenced in the file. 

  • Navigate organizational processes, policies, and cultures to remove barriers and manage change effectively.

  • Ensure stakeholder impacts are understood and supported withappropriate changemanagement plans.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Education/ Certifications:(Required & Preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related fieldrequired.

  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile certificationpreferred.

Skills andExperience: 

  • 5+years project management experience, including scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources, and communications (aligned with uploaded document requirements)

  • 3+ years managing largescale or multiple mid-sized projects. 

  • 2 yrs mentoring other project managers in program and project management

  • Prior project work in supply chain,logistics, manufacturing, or operations environments.

  • Experience with supply chain systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP).

  • Experience managing vendors or thirdpartylogisticspartners.

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities withdemonstratedbusiness acumen.

  • Business Acumen & Problem Solving: Understands operational impacts andoptimizesprocesses across theend-to-endsupply chain. 

  • Prioritization & Planning: Focuses on the most critical work, adjusting effectively to shifting priorities.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Builds alignment andmodelscollaborative behaviors, consistent with the reference PM expectations.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below.

Pay Rate or Range: $113,930.00 - $170,900.00
