Job Description Summary
Lamb Weston is seeking a self-motivated Senior Financial Analyst – Supply Chain FP&A to provide critical financial support across the supply chain while also serving as a key partner to the ESG and Procurement teams. This role is responsible for accurate, timely and complex financial analysis, costing, and reporting functions, with a primary focus on acting as the corporate liaison for plant manufacturing costing. Key responsibilities include production and cost reconciliations, variance analysis, consolidated plant reporting, forecasting, annual operating plan (AOP), strategic planning, and a contributor to month-end close activities. This position requires presenting analysis and recommendations to management in a fast-paced environment, leading small teams and other ad hoc projects as requested. In addition, the analyst will partner with Procurement to review and analyze actual and forecasted internal and external inflation assumptions, support the evaluation of Procurement project savings, and provide additional support as required. This role is also integral to Lamb Weston’s ESG initiatives, providing financial risk mitigation support and managing Washington Carbon Credit reporting, while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive ESG objectives.
Job Description
- Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly manufacturing variances for Lamb Weston production facilities, distributing results to internal staff and management.
- Partner with Procurement, Plant Finance, and Contract Manufacturing teams to develop and maintain accurate costing standards.
- Review costing changes for accuracy and ensure proper documentation to support audit requirements.
- Support management reporting processes, including earnings releases, board presentations, and planning activities.
- Coordinate input into the financial planning system and assist with the consolidation of annual operating and strategic plans. Validate data accuracy and reasonableness with management.
- Serve as a business partner for designated functions on accounting and finance-related matters, assessing business needs, providing comprehensive financial analysis and modeling, identifying risks and opportunities, and communicating issues and results clearly.
- Contribute to month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and resolution of unusual items.
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
- Develop and deliver periodic metrics, scorecards, and reports.
- Assist in consolidating Supply Chain monthly business review reporting.
- Collaborate with Procurement to review and analyze actual and forecasted internal and external inflation assumptions, support the evaluation of Procurement project savings, and provide additional support as required.
- Support ESG and Sustainability initiatives by providing insights on regulatory requirements and assessing compliance impacts.
- Advise on financial risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with carbon regulations while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
- Act as Finance lead for ESG and Global Engineering projects, securing alternative funding opportunities such as grants, incentives, and strategic investments.
- Support special projects and ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- MBA or CPA/CMA certification is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of professional general business and financial experience
- Requires strong verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of general business concepts.
- Proven fundamental knowledge of and driving compliance of GAAP.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to balance attention to extreme detail with broader goals and time limitations.
- Proven ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment.
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers, peers and effectively manage those relationships.
- Proven ability to self-direct and manage multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion in a deadline driven environment, while being able to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, or other software tools preferred.

A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $84,070.00 - $126,100.00
