Job Description Summary
The Lamb Weston Sr Sales Analyst will be based out of Northwest Arkansas supporting Walmart and Club channel initiatives. They will serve as the primary sales data analyst for Walmart and Sam’s Club working closely with the sales team. This role is highly data-driven to provide actionable insights that help improve sales, in-stock rates, forecasting, and promotional effectiveness.
Job Description
Reporting: develops and maintains scheduled scan/panel data reports, and conducts ad hoc reporting, as needed. This includes internal customer data, syndicated consumption and panel data as well as Lamb Weston shipment data for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requests.
Forecasting: providesaccurate weekly, quarterly and annual forecasts for sales, shipments, trade or business area of support. Compares internal forecast with the customer-provided forecast to maintain alignment.
Analyzing: provide deep analytical insights on Walmart and Club channel business related to sales trends, supply chain metrics, shipments, product quality, new item performance, AOP, and benchmarking using syndicated data and Scintilla.
Tracking: publish seasonal business trackers and direct all activities with customer related to optimal planning and forecast accuracy.
Proactively identify business opportunities and risks as well as manage projects using multiple sources of data analysis with little or no supervision
Identify performance trends and monitor forecasts in various systems to provide recommendations for business improvement
Monitor promotional and pricing compliance in accordance with guidelines
Works with the RGM and sales teams to evaluate promotional spend compliance and optimize trade funding with a focus on growing sales and ROI
Responding to customer needs and creating solutions to drive mutual benefit

Education:BA/BS degreerequired
Experience:5 years of related experience in sales analytics
Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods specific experience preferred
Successful experience with data analysis including:
Experience in manipulating and syndicating data from a variety of sources
Experience in managing data accuracy for reporting
Comfortable learning new systems and ways of working within them as they are launched or evolved
In-depth expertise in the use and applications across a variety of technologies and tools, including SAP, Microsoft Office Suite (with emphasis on Excel and Power BI) and third-party data sources (Illuminate, NIQ, Circana, SPINS, Scintilla)
Ability to work with raw retailer data, e.g. POS, panel, loyalty; space management software (Space Planning, Blue Yonder) a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as organization and prioritization skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with partners at various levels of the organization
Critical-thinking and creative problem-solving ability
Self-starter with the ability to function in a fast paced, dynamic environment with a positive attitude
Ability to travel independently, up to 25% of the time (e.g., Quarterly visits to Lamb Weston’s corporate office in Eagle, ID; attendance at annual Business Conference, etc.)

A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $75,660.00 - $113,490.00
