Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for a variety of financial duties surrounding the costing, analysis, and reporting functions within Supply Chain, with the primary focus of being a corporate liaison for plant manufacturing costing. This includes production and cost reconciliations, periodic reporting of financial results, variance analysis, data consolidation, forecasts, the annual planning process, strategic planning, and special projects.
Job Description
- Prepare and analyze manufacturing variances for Lamb Weston production facilities with distribution to internal staff and management.
- Interface with Procurement, Plant Finance, and Contract Manufacturing to develop and maintain costing standards.
- Review costing changes for both accuracy and to ensure adequate documentation to support audit confirmations.
- Support the management reporting function, earnings release, board, and plan support.
- Responsible for coordinating input into the financial planning system, supporting the consolidation of the annual operating plans and strategic plan. Work with management to validate accuracy and reasonableness of data.
- Analyze monthly variances between actual results, current estimate, plan, and prior year. Summarize results and discuss with management.
- Assist in internal and external audits when requested.
- Be a key player in ERP implementation and go forward plans.
- Other special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as requested.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years general business and financial experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Requires strong verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of general business concepts.
- Proven fundamental knowledge of and driving compliance of GAAP.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to balance attention to extreme detail with broader goals and time limitations.
- Advanced technical knowledge and skills, and a proven ability to collaborate well with a broad spectrum of departments: Plant Finance, Procurement, Demand Planning, and Operations.
- Proven ability to self-direct and manage multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion in a deadline driven environment, while being able to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven record of good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
FORGE Program
- This position may be included in the FORGE Program, a developmental rotational experience within Lamb Weston Supply Chain Finance. Rotational opportunities may include, but are not limited to, Plant, Transportation & Warehousing, Cost Accounting, Inventory, Grower Accounts, and Capital Finance.
- Rotations: The program will include a minimum 12–18-month experience in the posted position prior to a rotation to another Supply Chain FORGE role determined later.
- Career development: Participants remain in regular Lamb Weston roles while gaining broader Supply Chain Finance experience and may be considered for future opportunities as business needs and career interests align.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below.Pay Rate or Range: $71,410.00 - $107,110.00
