Job Description Summary

Production Support Specialist is responsible for providing clerical and operational support to the on-site shift Supervisor and Team leads. This position will assist in tracking required training as it applies to the position. This position will support all aspects of operations on the production floor.

Job Description

• Assist with manning and operational activities.
• Works with HR department, in regard to labor needs.
• Run on premises report to account for staffing.
• Assist with training new team members on PPE requirements, policies and procedures.
• Provide up to date documents for key positions at beginning of shift.
• Gather, review, and file all shift documentation and scan to the proper drive/location.
• Learn and comprehend basic operating procedures for key positions.
• Basic navigation of Packaging, Processing, and Receiving HMI/Panel screens
• Give direction and assistance as needed.
• Assist in cleanups, Pre-Operational inspections, startup and shut down processes.
• Maintain cleanliness of PPCA changing room and stock supplies.
• Other duties as assigned by shift Supervisor or Team Lead.
• Performs other daily routine requirements including reacting to area safety problems and communicating safety/quality/or procedural issues to proper departments or responsible parties.
• Complete other tasks assigned by supervisor/manager.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1 year of Clerical or Similar Experience
• Lift up to 25 pounds.
• Basic Computer Skills and Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel
• Good communication skills written and verbal.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work as a team.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s work location, job duties, experience and expertise. A reasonable hourly estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $21.85 - $23.67
