Job Description Summary
The Chain Account Manager I is responsible for generating growth, developing business relationships and executing strategic objectives with FS Multi-Unit Chain Operators. A Multi-Unit Chain Operator is defined as an Operator listed in Technomic’s top 100 and above, with annual frozen potato volume of 1M lbs. or more. The Chain Account Manager is also responsible for meeting all LW assigned financial goals and objectives.
Job Description
JobResponsibilities:
Balance volume, NSP, Net Sales to achieve positive financial results for the business portfolio.
Develop strategic partnerships with accounts by creating and executing Joint Business Plans (P360’s) incorporating industry trends, category insights, product innovation and solution-based ideas to enhance the customer relationship.
Work with Sales Director in managing contract negotiationswith Multi Unit Operators to achieve desired outcome for Lamb Weston and business partners.
Develop relationships with internal and external cross-functional leaders/decision makers to support portfolio of business in a 360 manner.
Effectively articulate and deliver fact-based presentations around LW value proposition.
Carefully manage all forecast and inventory levels by account/distribution partner and SKU’s
Work independently with general direction from Sales Director in terms of objectives and priorities
Develop new and emerging Multi Unit Chain Account business
Scope:
Responsible for Volume (growth and forecast), NSP and Net Sales for their portfolio of Accounts
Responsible for Strategic Growth and Development of Multi-Unit Chains
Influence Internal and External Cross functional partners to support Business
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Position Requirements: (Minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job or be considered)
Education/ Certifications: (Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Sales, Business Management or related field preferred.
Skills and Experience:
4+ years of sales experience, preferably in Foodservice, demonstrating higher level of responsibility throughout career.
Business management skills with experience in managing some Multi Unit Chain Accounts
Strategic thinker with ability for finding creative solutions and finding value for customers.
Demonstrate ability to negotiate programs and with analytic detail
Solid Communication skills, effective listener and presenter
Experience using a variety of technologies, Microsoft tools to include word, excel, PowerPoint.
Physical Environment/Demands:
Incumbents may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required tosit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Incumbents may use keyboards, telephone and other office equipment duringa normalworkday.
Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
May have to sample food while evaluating Lamb Weston products.
Ability to travel independently up to50%, depending on account location
Valid Driver’s License and ability to meet Lamb Weston Driving Standards.

Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $101,730.00 - $152,580.00
