Job Description Summary
The Maintenance Manager position provides leadership, expertise, and direction to facilitate a culture of continuous improvement with regards to efficiencies in the plant. The primary purpose of this role is to develop and implement actions to deliver improved equipment reliability through the identification of top losses, evaluation of work processes, and management of repair and maintenance activities. These actions will include, but are not limited to, development of systems and standards to improve skill levels, improve job plans, drive to root cause, and increase efficiency within the maintenance and production departments. This role is responsible for developing a culture of reliability within the maintenance staff by leading and providing direction to Maintenance Planners, Maintenance Supervisors, Tool Room / Inventory Team, and other key individuals within the maintenance department.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
·Supports the Planning, Maintenance, and Tool Room / Inventory groups
·Leads all Reliability systems to include, but not exclusive to: Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), Lubrication, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (MP&S)
·Leads Loss Identification systems to include, but not exclusive to: Breakdown Elimination (BDE), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Component Life Cycle Engineering, Stress Analysis
·Provides recommendations and data for equipment reliability improvements
·Works with Maintenance Repair & Operations (MRO) teams to manage spares strategy to include, but not exclusive to: Critical Spare analysis, purchasing processes.
·Works with area Planners to develop and maintain Planned Maintenance (PM) and Lubrication routes
·Works with Production Line Leaders to maximize reliability improvements
·Provide coaching to applicable entities to understand and achieve reliability improvements
·Integral team member with our Site Structure to support the production lines Line Structure Teams (LSTs) and directly lead the development and ownership of the Site Structure Team (SST) to improve the reliability of the overall site
·Leads Planned Maintenance (PM) Pillar and actively participates with Pillar Teams at all other plants
·Assists in the development, management, and completion (compliance) of an effective Planned Maintenance (PM) program
·Supports the planning & execution processes of the Capital Program for the plant team working with the Engineering ensuring Key plant resources are available as appropriate.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field preferred
- 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or engineering preferred
- Experience leading and managing a team preferred
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional and Certified Reliability Leader certifications preferred
- Must be computer literate; experienced in using computer software applications such as CAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.
- Prior experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferred knowledge of SAP
- Basic accounting knowledge preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the stated requirements

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $92,480.00 - $138,710.00
