Job Description Summary
The Manager Total Rewards - Health & Welfare, Global Mobility and Relocation leads the strategy, design, financial management, governance, and continuous improvement of North America health and welfare programs; global mobility and relocation programs in support of business priorities and the employee experience. The role partners with Total Rewards leadership, the HR HUB, Finance, Legal, Procurement, HR business partners, consultants, and vendors to deliver high quality, competitive, compliant, cost-effective programs. The manager translates data, market practices, employee needs, and regulatory requirements into recommendations for leadership and applicable governance committees. As a cross-functional Total Rewards team member, the role will also support Compensation programs and projects, including market pricing, job evaluation, annual compensation processes, analytics, and implementation support.
Job Description
- Leads the annual strategy, design, renewal, and evaluation of North America Health & Welfare, Global Mobility and Relocation programs and related offerings.
- Leads vendor and consultant relationships by defining service expectations, monitoring performance measures, reviewing fees and outcomes, resolving escalated issues, and supporting sourcing and contract decisions.
- Leads cross-functional Benefit initiatives, applies disciplined project and change and contributes to team capability and continuity.
- Leads annual enrollment readiness and change implementation, including project plans, requirements, testing, employee communications, manager and HR enablement, and post-implementation review.
- Prepares clear recommendations and presentations for Total Rewards leadership, senior leaders, and applicable employee benefit committees (EBIC and EBAC); documents decisions and follows through on approved actions.
- Develops & reviews financial models, forecasts, reviews and presents rate recommendations, and other decision materials; identifies cost, risk, and program-improvement opportunities, including preparing materials for the annual planning process.
- Assists vendors in benefit cost reporting and analysis as needed.
- Partners with the HR HUB and HRIS teams to translate plan designs into accurate administration, eligibility, enrollment, interfaces, and controls; establishes audits and escalation processes rather than performing routine transactions.
- Ensures programs and practices comply with applicable federal and state requirements and plan documents; partners with Legal and advisors to assess changes, mitigate risk, and complete required notices, filings, and documentation.
- Leads Global Mobility and Relocation programs including:
- Managing short-term and long-term international assignments, permanent international relocations including physical relocation, immigration, and tax.
- Advising HR and Management on mobility policies and practices and in line with global policy standards.
- Partnering with external vendors including relocation, immigration, tax initiations, billing, and reporting.
- Supports Compensation programs and projects as a cross-trained Total Rewards resource, including job evaluation, market pricing, salary recommendations, annual compensation-cycle activities, data validation, analytics, and process documentation.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with administration of compensation and/or benefits programs
- Must have 7+ years HR Information System (HRIS) related experience
- 2+ years of recent experience supporting projects related to Workday HCM, Advanced Compensation (i.e., year-end merit, bonus and stock awards consolidated Workday business process), Workday benefit plan configuration and reporting strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing other employees required
- Must be technologically adept and able to work with multiple Microsoft applications
- Experience with HRIS and compensation/benefit databases
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLookUp, Concatenation and other functions).
- Must have high work capacity, results-oriented drive and strong sense of urgency
Physical Environment/Demands:
- Some travel may be required
- Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
- Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
- Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of normal workday
- Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below.Pay Rate or Range: $117,060.00 - $175,600.00
