Job Description Summary
The HRIS team is responsible for owning and managing Workday, supporting multiple business functions within the global business units at Lamb Weston. This team works closely with our stakeholders across HR, Process Innovation, Payroll, Performance, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting and Benefits, etc. to provide technology solutions and services to enable them for success in carrying out business operations & launching strategic business projects.
As a Senior HRIS Analyst you will be responsible for working in collaboration with business stakeholders to drive and implement projects to meet the business goals and objectives of Lamb Weston. You will be the acting subject matter expert (SME) on assigned Workday module (Talent and Performance) while having a working knowledge of other modules, and processes to engage and partner with leaders to architect solutions and implement them. You will be responsible for defining standards and best practices for Workday, both in implementation of configuration and support. You will act as a Workday champion and stay on top of Workday’s releases and features to implement the latest and greatest for your business stakeholders.
This role will require thorough knowledge and understanding of core HR business processes, practices, and experience implementing and administering Workday for large enterprise companies. This role reports to the Manager of HR Systems.
Job Description
- Participate in discovery sessions with business stakeholders and cross functional teams to recommend best solutions on the Workday platform.
- Develop scalable solutions on the Workday platform for the Global HR teams for best in class user experience, performance and security.
- Work closely with business to explore opportunities to leverage Workday functionalities and features to improve HR business processes and operations.
- Challenge existing business & IT processes, methods and systems for improving operations, security and scalability.
- Uphold the highest standards of application security and data integrity on the Workday platform and protect sensitive HR data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in sprint updates and manage sprint communications with business stakeholders, ensuring reliable project tracking, execution, and on time deliverables.
- Support the reporting needs of business to design and develop insightful analytics solutions on the Workday platform.
- Ability to understand the impacts of any changes to Workday processes and configuration on other technologies and on downstream systems ensuring the appropriate parties are advised.
- Partner with the HR Service Center team to build reports and dashboards to drive self-service and to support reporting.
- Stay abreast of the latest Workday releases to promote awareness, and adoption of Workday tools to drive more productivity and efficiency within HR operations.
- Proactively share knowledge with HR Service Center support teams including assisting in the development of documentation, guidelines, end-user training resources and other materials as required.
- Partner with team members through project collaboration and KT’s:
- Gather, build and test requirements for multiple modules within Workday HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Talent, Learning, Performance, Talent and Recruiting as assigned.
- Provides system mass update support via EIBs for all functional areas of Workday.
- Collaborate with HRIS Analyst to support all escalated HRIS related Workday support tickets via Service Now within established service level agreement.
- Provides support and collaborates on all integrations including the management of current integrations.
- Effectively define, configure and document technical requirements for system configurations and enhancements.
- Lead the bi-annual Workday release management process for assigned modules to include analysis of updates, creation of testing scenarios and configuration validation.
- Perform thorough review of business requirements as provided by HR Service Center to determine feasibility of the request, provide additional functional solutions and work with the HR Service Center to deliver the requirements.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) years of Workday experience with three (3) years specific to the assigned Workday module (Talent and Performance).
- Workday Certification is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/training/experience in Management Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field required.
- Advanced experience with the building and maintenance of calculated fields is strongly preferred.
- Strong technical and working knowledge of HR systems, applications, theory and practice.
- Advanced proficiency with data conversion and mapping.
- Ability to provide, in user-friendly terms, sound ideas and solutions to end users on HR systems-related questions, tasks, projects and reports.
- Demonstrates an understanding of business objectives both internally and externally which impact the company’s ability to achieve its objectives.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below.Pay Rate or Range: $95,020.00 - $142,520.00
