Job Description Summary

As an Associate Data Management Analyst, you will be creating and maintaining data according to business rules, governance standards and policy in Both SAP and ASI that will include all areas rolling up to the Master Data Team. You will provide support to project teams and governance as we grow and evolve. A solid understanding of our internal policies, processes, and requirements will be essential to effectively train & support our customers Front end analysis is required to verify requests for consistency, completeness, and 100% accuracy upon entry. Assists in projects/research to support business systems requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. This position will play a support role in the Master Data Management team.

Job Description

This position requires you to educate both internal and external customers on our processes and procedures, ensuring theyunderstand our internal controls and sox compliance controls.Additionally,a broad end-to end-understanding of the different processes,and how they relate to master datawill be critical for guidingvarious teams on how to utilize and populate the data fields across the various businesses and analytical scenarios.

  • Maintain working knowledge and experience of SAP S4/HANA.

  • Maintain knowledge and experience of ASI master records.

  • Validate and syndicate changes to master data (Business Partner and Material) as approved by business review process including but not limited to requests to create, change, extend, block/unblock, activate/deactivate, or otherwise modify master data.

  • Educate on end-to-end process.

  • Capture business impacts for the team.

  • Provide guidance to business partners on tactical requests within your master data domain.

  • Train internal teams on the processes and requirements of master data.

  • Perform data preparation, cleansing, analysis, and manipulation.

  • Create, review, and maintain quality process documentation (Business process documents, process flows, policies and procedures, strategies, etc.)

  • Provide internal/externalcustomer support along with coordination of documents, audit, product specification, etcrequests

  • Prioritize effectively across operational needs and project work. 

  • Enableoverall improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience with minimum

1-2 years related experience analyzing, validating, and posting data.

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about data.

  • Prefer some experience and knowledge of departmental functions, terminology, and interrelationships for data types such as: Customer, Vendor, and Material.

  • Passionate attitude toward data quality with a strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, high transaction team environment.

  • Ability to navigate tasks without adequate documentation which will require resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to leverage existing knowledge and resources

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Experience with S/4HANA for master data creation and maintenancerequired.

  • Experience with ASI a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects, be organized and plan.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.

  • Ability to complete quality work within defined service targets in situations with tight turnarounds and deadlines.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, ServiceNow and ability to comfortably navigate multiple databases. 

  • Continuous improvement mindset.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgement.

  • Capacity to consistently apply standard policies and procedures and support their creation.

  • Flexibility to provide support to multiple roles within data governance.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $52,200.00 - $78,300.00
