Job Description Summary

Internal Audit at Lamb Weston provides a balanced perspective in identifying and mitigating risks to the achievement of the company’s strategic, operational, and compliance objectives. This key Internal Audit position will be responsible for performing financial, operational, and compliance reviews throughout the company. This flexible position is ideal for self-motivated auditors who enjoy working with people at various levels and in all areas of the company.

Job Description

• Participate in the Company's SOX Program and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to enhance internal controls, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency and propose solutions to Internal Audit Leaders.
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports and other deliverables summarizing findings and recommendations for management.
• Follow-up on audit findings to ensure management action plans have been implemented.
• Assess opportunities to utilize data to identify process insights, risks, and support audit conclusions.
• Execute against timelines and objectives and deliver high quality, timely deliverables.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, Information Technology preferred)
• Advanced degree a plus
• 1+ years professional audit (internal or external) experience
• CPA and/or CIA certifications, or progress towards them, preferred
• Excellent analytical, project management, interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient knowledge of auditing and accounting, US GAAP, SOX, COSO 2013 Framework, PCAOB and IIA standards 
• Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to think critically, ask searching questions, analyze complex areas
• Ability to collaborate with local stakeholders
• Ability to work remotely and independently of direct supervisor
• Ability to deliver timely deliverables and respond to feedback
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, change, and a dynamic business environment 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%, including international travel

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $69,500.00 - $104,240.00
