Job Description Summary
In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional business partners to provide analysis, reporting, fact-based recommendations, and insights that will assist in delivering against stated financial and performance objectives. You will support the North America Foodservice business unit’s finance and sales leadership in multiple areas, including trade management / optimization and business unit FP&A, with primary focus on trade management.
Job Description
- Lead N. America Foodservice trade optimization, reporting, and analytics, serving as the subject matter expert for trade spend
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of trade spend drivers, translating insights into clear business implications
- Establish, track, and reconcile trade accruals and reserves, ensuring balance sheet accuracy and compliance
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness and health of trade settlement processes, identifying risks and improvement opportunities
- Partner with Sales and Finance to provide proactive, data-driven recommendations that optimize profitability and top and bottom-line growth
- Develop the annual trade plan in collaboration with the Finance Director as part of the annual operating plan
- Collaborate with finance and sales leadership to build trade forecasts and scenario analyses
- Support activation of pricing and trade programs within LW systems in partnership with the broader finance team
- Own month-end and quarter-end close activities related to trade, including analysis and management reporting
- Provide technical and process expertise cross-functionally to enhance reporting, controls, and system capabilities
- Contribute to broader FP&A activities over time, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, as the role evolves
- Continuously improve financial models, processes, and controls to support business scale and complexity
- Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to an analyst, ensuring rigorous analysis and impactful strategic recommendations
- Perform additional responsibilities as required
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business field required, finance or accounting preferred
- Master’s degree in a business field is a plus
Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years of professional experience in financial analysis, reporting, and data management
- Strong understanding of P&L management and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Proven ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Demonstrated experience leading complex analyses, managing multiple projects concurrently, and delivering high-quality outputs with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable financial insights and recommendations
- Ability to think logically and structure work efficiently, build alignment across stakeholders, and lead initiatives to completion
- Experience partnering cross-functionally to deliver projects or resolve business challenges
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Experience with business intelligence and data tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Salesforce preferred; Tableau and Alteryx a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
Physical Environment/Demands:
- Some travel will be required (typically <10% of time)
- Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
- Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of normal workday
- Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below.Pay Rate or Range: $113,930.00 - $170,900.00
