Job Description Summary
The Senior Reliability Specialist- Maintenance Systems and Governance is responsible for enterprise ownership, governance, and continuous improvement of maintenance systems and standards, with a primary focus on SAP PM and MRO-related functionality.
This role ensures maintenance processes, master data, and system configurations enable reliable execution at the plant level while supporting corporate consistency, scalability, and long-term reliability objectives.
The position serves as the corporate subject matter expert for maintenance systems and SAP PM governance, working closely with site planners, maintenance leaders, and the Reliability Community of Practice to develop, test, deploy, and sustain standardized maintenance solutions across the organization.
Job Description
Maintenance Systems Ownership and Governance -Own and govern SAP PM and related maintenance system capabilities across all manufacturing sites, ensuring consistent, effective, and reliable system usage aligned with corporate reliabilityobjectives.
Enterprise Standards Leadership-Lead the development, maintenance, and governance of corporate maintenance and SAP PM standards, ensuring alignment with reliability strategy, operational needs, and best practices across the network.
Reliability System Enablement - Translate reliability strategy and business requirements into practical, system-enabled solutions that support preventive maintenance, planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
Solution Design and Lifecycle Management - Design, configure, test, andvalidateSAP PM solutions and enhancements, ensuring changes are stable, scalable, and suitable for enterprise deployment before rollout.
Change control and Decision Authority -Serve as the primary escalation point for SAP PM design, configuration, and governance decisions, including review and approval of standard deviations whenrequired.
Training, Capability Development, and Mentorship-Develop and deliver training, guidance, and standard work for planners and maintenance teams, while serving as a mentor and technical resource for SAP PM and maintenance system capability development.
MRO Systems Alignment - Own SAP system elements supporting MRO governance, ensuring alignment between maintenance planning,equipmentBOMs, procurement processes, and storeroom practices.
Data Quality,Metricsand Insights Enablement - Provide subject matterexpertiseon SAP PM data structure, data quality, and interpretation, supporting maintenance and reliability metrics while partnering with analytics resources for reporting and dashboarding.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement -Partner with site maintenance, reliability, operations, and corporate teams to drive consistent system usage, support assessments and audits,identifygaps, and continuously improve maintenance system effectiveness.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Education/ Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred. Equivalent experience in maintenancesystemsgovernance and SAP PM may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Skills and Experience:
Experience in maintenance systems, reliability, or asset management within a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of SAP PM, including preventive maintenance, task lists, work order management, notifications, and master data governance
Experience developing, governing, and deploying maintenance standards across multiple sites
Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, failure analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
Proven ability to design, test,validate, and implement system solutions prior to enterprise deployment
Experience supporting MRO-related system functionality and integration with maintenance planning processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to system usage, data quality, and process effectiveness
Ability to interpret maintenance and reliability data and support development of meaningful metrics and reports
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below.Pay Rate or Range: $78,520.00 - $117,790.00
