Job Description Summary
This role provides comprehensive support for K-12, Military, and Non-Commercial segments, ensuring smooth execution of commodity programs, bid management, compliance, and cross-functional coordination. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, thrives in cross functional collaboration (Invoice to Cash, Sales, IT), and demonstrates a track record of executing operational tasks at scale to support pricing, promotions, account hierarchies, and opportunity to order processes.
Platforms: Salesforce, Evolve, SAP S/4HANA Order/Pricing/Billing, and Trade Promotion Management.
Job Description
K-12 Segment Support
- Manage USDA commodity processing programs, including internal coordination and external communication with Lunch line and state agencies.
- Oversee tracking systems, drawdowns, and monthly reporting.
- Coordinate pricing, product information, and bid paperwork for state and district bids.
- Maintain compliance through audits and documentation (PFS, Buy American lists).
- Support K-12 events, food shows, and broker inquiries.
Military Segment Support
- Obtain and maintain Berry Amendment compliance documentation.
- Ensure military specifications are accurate and accessible.
- Track sample requests and input opportunities into Salesforce.
Non-Commercial Segment Support
- Maintain GPO and segment data in Salesforce.
- Manage membership lists and competitive item matching.
- Support bid intake and consolidation for C&U accounts.
- Assist with RFP responses and maintain account cheat sheets.
Additional Responsibilities
- Serve as Salesforce point person for opportunity input across all segments.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Acxion broker teams.
- Process payments for Lunch line and ProcessorLink.
- This role will back up and learn the Sales Excellence and Settlement Analyst roles to understand how the base foundation of the K-12 bids, Non-Commercial and Military promotion and claim activity work.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, related K-12 school bid, Commodity, Non-Commercial, Military, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Research, strong project management, organizational, problem-solving, mathematical, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of USDA commodity programs and bid processes preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, analytics, and ability to quickly learn and utilize multiple systems and draw appropriate conclusions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects
- Ability to work independently and as a team player, be organized, and plan ahead
- May require presentations to Sales, internal departments, and customers.
Language Skills
- Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Spanish knowledge is an added advantage.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below.Pay Rate or Range: $52,200.00 - $78,300.00
