Job Description Summary
The role of the Tote-Fill Technician role is to perform various grades, tagging, and product assignment functions to achieve optimum product quality.
Job Description
- Correctly tag bulk product containers as prescribed by dept./company policy.
- Monitor QA / Customer Codes
- Continuous communication with QA and Warehouse Depts and TLP’s of any unscheduled changes
- Monitor Tote Capping
- General Sanitation Duties (cleaning area equipment during sanitation activities)
- Communicate variances and excessive tolerances to proper supervisory personnel
- Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
- Able to trouble shoot the roller system
- Able to manually feed/eject totes onto and off the scales
- Correctly verify/calibrate scales prior to starting up after every clean up
- Communicate with other departments when additional help needed
- Able to set up the correct ticket printer for the computer and trouble shoot.
- Understand HMI panel operation pertaining to Tote roller system
- Perform and understand operational changes to tote fill stations on Factory Talk
- Making tote weight adjustments and shaker weight duration adjustments on Factory Talk
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Turn in all tote logs at the end of every shift
- Reconcile shift report ensuring accuracy.
- Equipment checklist done and turned in every shift
- provide feedback to team members of any issues with totes, pallets, or stickers on totes to be correct while in process.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and/or three to six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic personal computer skills
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Be able to multi-task.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to work as a team.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s work location, job duties, experience and expertise. A reasonable hourly estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $20.92 - $21.53
