Job Description Summary

This position provides direct administrative support across Lamb Weston’s Technical and Innovation Center locations with a combined 90 employees. It requires the ability to perform advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative duties utilizing several tools and technologies. Success in this role is fueled by excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; the ability to build impactful working relationships across diverse styles; attention to detail; and a commitment to confidentiality.

Job Description

This position provides direct administrative support across Lamb Weston’s Technical and Innovation Center locations with a combined 90 employees. It requires the ability to perform advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative duties utilizing several tools and technologies. Success in this role is fueled by excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; the ability to build impactful working relationships across diverse styles; attention to detail; and a commitment to confidentiality.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to all levels of Food Safety Quality (FSQ), Regulatory & Compliance, and Innovation teams
  • Serves as the first contact for contractors and other external visitors to the buildings
  • Manges complex calendars with precision, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and proactively resolving schedule conflicts
  • Coordinates meeting and travel, including submitting expense reports
  • Supports payment of department invoices through the department’s bill payment tool and SAP
  • Supports department document retention process and systems
  • Creates, proofs, and distributes PowerPoint presentations for various audiences
  • Assists in drafting, proofing, and editing various communications
  • Communicates in a highly professional manner with individuals at all levels in the organization, industry, and community
  • Provides general office support for assigned functions, including ensuring efficient and professional operation of the office, always exercising discretion and diplomacy
  • Manages the utilization and ordering of office supplies and other special requests
  • Identifies administrative continuous improvements and develops tools to assist department staff in their effectiveness
  • Actively contributes to team culture and cohesion
  • Takes on special assignments and projects as needed

Position Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Administrative, Business Support and/or Customer Service experience
  • Demonstrated ability to produce quality, timely and accurate work under short time constraints
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and demonstrate a high degree of tact, discretion, flexibility, and diplomacy
  • Must be able to handle confidential information and data requiring the highest degree of care
  • Excellent interpersonal and service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and take initiative to anticipate and resolve issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to learn new software programs with limited training
  • Must present a professional image

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Administrative, Business Support and/or Customer Service experience

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $48,340.00 - $72,500.00
