Job Description Summary
This position provides integration planning and effective project management for innovation and commercialization projects to drive business growth. This position also ensures effective use of resources and communication of priorities across functional groups by coordinating efforts with the appropriate business partners.
Job Description
Coordinates activities related to developing project charters
Initiates and manages Stage Gate approved work streams
Organizes/Facilitates Project Coordination Meetings
Escalates to PMO Director on project scope, time frame, and resources as needed
Maintains detailed project plans, and real-time project updates, tracking and reporting on project status
Ensures all projects are appropriately resourced to meet timeline expectations
Manages assigned project resources to meet project milestones and deliver completed projects on time
Assigns resource tasks and daily resource management
Resolves timing conflicts (prioritize daily activity of assigned resources as needed)
Works with other managers to achieve efficiencies across integration of projects
Ensures on time completion of work
Identifies risk, opportunities for risk mitigation and ensures timely communication when timelines are at risk
Performs other duties as assigned
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)
AA degree required, BS/BA degree preferred in Project Management, Business or Supply Chain
PMP Certification - completed or in process
2+ years of related project management experience (R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance)
Skills and Experience:
Strong background managing multiple projects simultaneously within scope, timing & resource expectations
Strong communication skills across all levels of leadership and employees
Demonstrated ability to partner on cross-functional teams
Ability to deal with the ambiguity of innovation and guide projects to successful conclusion
Strong influencing skills both internally and externally – ability to motivate others
Ability to identify resources and align/coordinate/prioritize resource workloads
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills with a continuous improvement mindset
Ability to utilize/design/implement complex process improvements
Self-directed with an ability to organize, plan, prioritize
Able to perform cost/benefit analysis
Strong understanding of business process design and procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong PC skills, to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Working knowledge of LW Systems is a plus
Working knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
Experience with project management software and familiarity with PLM Systems is a plus
Experience with global projects a plus
Physical Environment/Demands:
Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required tosit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of normal workday
Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.

A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $76,420.00 - $114,640.00
