Job Description Summary

Engaged in duties concerned with sanitation programs in food processing establishment by performing the
following duties.
This position will be required to work any shift and/or any day of the week in accordance with production
schedules.

Job Description

A. Operates process equipment and performs duties as follows:

1. Operate/Locate all Emergency (E) Stops in the plant.

2. Operate/Locate hand held fire-extinguishing equipment.

3. Operate/Locate eyewash and shower stations.

4. Understanding and knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

5. Understanding and knowledge of all sanitation chemicals used in the plant.

6. Operate chemical dispensing equipment.

7. Perform boilouts on Preheater water loop, Cutting tank/cutting loop/starch system and ADR/SRC water loop.

8. Operate sanitation equipment.

9. Reports mechanical or electrical problems promptly to supervisor and maintenance.

10. Operate panel views.

11. Ensure sanitation of production lines.

12. Maintains/Promotes safe work practices at all times.

13. Satisfactorily complete Job Criteria List and Training Program as outlined by Sanitation Supervisor. 14. Fill out, maintain and sign all applicable documentation and administration forms for verification purposes.

15. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. B. Communicate with sanitation leader, and supervisors as follows: 1. To keep abreast of production activities. 2. Remove any foreign material found during transfers and notifies supervisor immediately if glass or metal is found. C. Maintain sanitation in the work area as needed 1. Clean work area as determined necessary (using the designated cleaning equipment and supplies as well as a high pressure water hose). 2. Clean plant equipment as assigned during plant clean up
