Job Description Summary

C-Shift
Operate the mashed line packaging machines in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Description

Assures quality of workmanship by continual observation of the assigned line, and performing necessary adjustments to insure:

• Proper bag sealing.
• Proper operation of metal detector and check weigher.
• Proper adjustment of bag coder assuring correct and legible bag codes. Proper adjustment of case sealers and glue patterns. Performance of operator level maintenance on assigned packaging lines
• Assure conformance with sanitation standards by:
• Keeping area clean and walkways free of product and debris. Cleaning floors and equipment during breaks. Ensuring that product rejected by the metal detectors is disposed of according to policy.
• Cleaning the mashed transferring equipment in accordance with the standard cleanup procedures . 

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work safely
• Good communication skills - written/oral
• Problem Solving Skills
• Multi-tasker
