Job Description Summary

Responsible for assuring correct batter and ingredients are placed on the equipment properly. Ensure dry mix equipment and automated ingredient system including receiver and hoppers are functioning correctly. Tickets are taken out of the inventory system and manifested correctly.

Job Description

  • Monitor and control batter mixing ingredients totes and liquid ingredients

  • Break down batter tote boxes and roll up super sacks.

  • Must be able to correctly identify batter and ingredients

  • Batter attendant reliefs batter operator during breaks 

  • lean.

  • Clean equipment designated by the lead or team leader during breaks in the line.

  • Maintain good housekeeping in work area: sweep and shovel as directed

  • Perform other job duties as assigned by the ML Lead or Team leader production.

  • Follow all plant safety policies and procedures.

  • Will be utilized in sanitation position during non-battered items.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience desired, but not required.

Language Skills

  • Ability to speak, read and write in English is required

  • Must be able to communicate well, understand and comprehend verbal & written instruction.

Mathematical Skills

  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide using a calculator.

  • Must be able to use and understand basic math and have minimal mechanical ability.

Computer Skills

  • Ability to use Microsoft Suite including; word, PowerPoint and excel.

  • Ability to enter data, draft emails and make presentations if needed.

  • Must know or have the ability to learn internal computer programs and operating systems.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to safely lift up to 75 pounds.

Work Environment

  • Must be able to work in all environments such as; hot, cold, wet or dry.

  • Must be able to safely use chemicals required for chemicals.

  • Must be able to work in all environments such as; hot, cold, wet or dry.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s work location, job duties, experience and expertise. A reasonable hourly estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $19.63
