Job Description Summary
This position performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. . Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Uses hand/power tools and test meters. Tests, inspects, troubleshooting, and repairs machines and equipment.
Job Description
Be able to utilize SAP for any maintenance requirements including: writing a Work Order, Adding comments to Work Orders, looking up spare parts and bill of materials.
Averages a PM completion rate of 90% per year.
Average A critical PM completion of 98% per year.
Writes adequate notifications for items observed needing attention.
Current on all LOTO validations, Safety trainings and required certifications.

Good Work Ethic, this includes but is not limited to
Effective time management; prioritizing tasks to maximize your day. Daily priority is Line calls, A Critical , routine maintenance work orders and confirming time in SAP before shifts end
Consistency: maintaining a high level of performance and productivity over a elongated period of time. This includes but is not limited to, team work on line calls, PM completion, notifications, collaboration on projects
Communicates well with other departments, supervisors,
Shows leadership and can take charge of a situation to solve a problem
Good troubleshooting skills
Willing to work overtime or off shift when needed
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of instrumentation and equipment.
Understanding of motor controls.
Capable to be on shift with minimal supervision
Basic understanding in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, and meggers to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Have formal training or experience in mechanics, electricity, electrical schematics, with an understanding of instruments and controls
Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the state and federal levels
Able to use computer efficiently for keeping records, filling out log sheets, email. Knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, and Outlook.
Possess and can demonstrate a high level of competency in troubleshooting and correcting electrical issues related to work group.
Proficient understanding of instrumentation installation
Be capable of reading schematics, wiring panels, and fabricating new and replacement equipment.
Perform installation and maintenance work as part of a team of skilled trade workers
Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and meggers to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Proficient knowledge to troubleshoot PLC’s with no supervision.
Proficient knowledge of panel design including breaker size, wire size, load rating, conduit fill.
Competent with programming, troubleshooting, and installing VFD’s.
Knowledge of NEC codes.
